SOUTH-EASTERN EUROPEAN CINEMA SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION

SEECS was established in 2009.

It’s main goals are as follows:

• To promote student and teacher mobility between SEECS member schools through joint projects, cross-cultural research cooperation and other educational and professional activities in the audiovisual domain.
• To assess the feasibility of creating joint internationally recognized M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in the South-Eastern European audiovisual domain and to launch scholarship fund-raising initiatives for the purpose.
• To promote the high quality of teaching in the SEECS member schools.
• To establish a SEECS website and a common database of pedagogic tools.

SEECS will be open to new members upon admission of new schools from the South-Eastern European region by CILECT.
