First I SEE U Film Completed!

I SEE U, a project that took shape during SEECS’s 7^th conference, in Bucharest, in December 2013, has given its first fruit!

In collaboration with students from NATFA, Istanbul Kültür University students have completed their film for the I SEE U project. Bertuğ İlerci, Sinem Akyol, Burcu Akbayır and Ulaş Beşenk worked with Asya Atanassova, Martin Genovski, Diana Yoncheva and İrina Yordanova. They visited Sofia in May 2013 for the shoot, and have now completed the editing of their film “Bulg’Art'ia”. The 45 minute documentary looks at the lives of street artists across Sofia. Whether it be music or graffiti, these artists strive to make their art and find place for their creative outlets in their lives, even if it means to struggle a little bit.

The film reflects upon the possibilities Sofia as a city has to offer to its artists and how art on the streets is received by the population.
