SEECS Short Film Festival 2018 Jury

Roxana Stroe – Romania
Film director, UNATC alumni, Roxana Stroe’s films won many national and international awards at various film festivals across the world. In 2017 she won the Best Film Award at the 3rd edition of the SEECS Short Film Fest in Istanbul with her film A Night in Tokoriki produced by UNATC.

Bülent Küçükerdoğan– Turkey
Film professor at the Hasan Kalyoncu University in Gaziantep, Bulent Kucukerdogan was the president of SEECS for 4 years, and he is the founder of the SEECS Short Film Fest. He organized and was the director of the first 3 editions of the Festival.

Alexey Hristov – Bulgaria
Alexey Hristov graduated Yoan Ekzarh Language Highschool in his hometown of Vratsa. At the end of the 90s he received a Master degree in theology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He worked at Darik Radio, Citizen Society and Democratic Review magazine. He was a guest researcher at Georgetown University in Washington DC on the topic of non-profit organizations and civil society. He is program director of the American Foundation for Bulgaria and branch manager in Bulgaria. He created the original concept of Early Bird festival in 2005 as a continuation of the Foundation’s successful initiative to support student film projects.
